Local Sustainability

Childress Food Company believes in the Local Sustainability of the food we use.  It is our promise to use local farms, local ingredients and fresh, sustainable food as often as possible.

Our fresh ground Dry Seasonings are packaged just North of Tulsa on U.S. Highway 169.  Our eggs are delivered fresh, upon request from Hazel’s Harvest in Skiatook.  The breads we serve come from fresh from either Farrell Family Bread or Cintheeze Family Bread

During the Summer Months, we go to local Farmer’s Markets across town for fresh vegetables and produce.  We also like to use R & G Family Grocers to source from local farms and shop frequently at Sprouts and Whole Foods

Our newest partner is 918Beef.  We also shop for meats at Reasor’s, while the Seafood is generally purchased from White River Fish Market or Bodean.  For specialty meat, we like to use Harvard Meats.

We also use products from Scissortail FarmsMarshall Brewing Company and Topeca Coffee. Preston could make his own BBQ Sauce, but Sandy’s Sauce is so freakin’ good and the honey is local too! And the Goat Cheese?  Well  you have to look for Canyon Ridge Farms at many of the local Farmer’s Markets.

And just for fun, did you know Jay, Oklahoma is the Huckleberry Capitol of the World?  Wow!
